Wikipedia Mining

Wikipedia is the largest encyclopedia ever created. Wikipedia mining is the systematic preparation of structured information from the article texts, categorical classifications, and link structures found within the multilingual versions of Wikipedia. With the help of computer linguistic procedures, data and text mining, and the use of graph algorithms, we are able to extract knowledge and structural information about nearly all of the subjects described on Wikipedia. These resources serve as the foundation for our development of intelligent semantic information systemsand enable the development of multilingual search technologies.
