Our semantic search overcomes the weaknesses of traditional keyword-based search applications. Semantic search allows for topic-oriented browsing of document collections and eliminates the need for specific knowledge of specialized terminology for keyword searches. Semantic search applications recognize the meaning of search requests via named entity recognition, thus the need for multiple searches using synonyms, umbrella terms or abbreviations to reveal all potentially relevant results is eliminated.
