Talend is powerful Open Source software for data management. The free, full-licensed basic version of Talend Open Studio consists of over a hundred operators, which contain features to simplify and automate data logistical processes. These processes are modeled in Talend Open Studio in operator chains and thus remain easy to understand and document.
The Talend Integration Suite offers additional features for business applications. These include a shared repository for collaborative work in the design of data integration processes, data migration and data synchronization. Another feature of the Talend Integration Suite is the monitoring console which facilitates the supervision of all processes.
Talend Master Data Management (MDM) is Talend’s specialized solution for managing master data.
Finally, Talend MDX offers supports for cloud computing. These features allow and increase the functionality of data intensive applications. Talend MDX supports the execution of Talend processes on cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon EC2 with the help of Hadoop - the Open Source Standard Framework for Big Data applications.
